Once again, thank you for this great video! Yes, definitely it is the most hawkish Fed Powell that I have heard for a very long time. He mentioned Paul Volcker and Alan Greenspan in his speech today (I think on purpose). I believe that he has received a lot of criticism for not addressing inflation sooner and as we now know that inflation is not transitory. When you listen to his 8-minute speech, it is well scripted where he read it word for word. I feel that his tone is very COLD today, especially when he mentioned about brining "some pain to households and businesses. These are the unfortunate costs of reducing inflation." I just can't imagine for people who lost their jobs and listened to Powell's gloomy speech. Nonetheless, I don't really care of what he says. Our portfolio is quite diversified to handle the corrections.
