Wow! The only month that averaged negative results over the past 100 years happens to be the one we presently find ourselves in.
Plus, if the current season is to indeed rhyme (a la supposedly Mark Twain) with history, all the setting-you-up-to-expect-volatility we've been doing lately will have us looking pretty smart:
Personally, I wouldn't trade on seasonality (other than perhaps in the commodities markets [where we're talking Mother Nature's seasonality]), but it's always interesting to look at...
